We are constantly asked - "Which bras do you think I need?". So our team AKA Pant Patrol has come together with their years of fit obsession to create the ultimate directory of bras which are an essential basis to ANY bra-drobe.
This inaugural edition of the Bra-Drobe Staples edit is dedicated to the elite level of this bunch and aims to shine a light on the bras which we believe are a MUST in everyone’s wardrobe. Featuring styles such as everyday, strapless, neutrals and wire-free, these pieces will ensure you have the right foundations for any outfit or occasion.

The first pick in our roundup is the D+ lace plunge. This bra is one of the first styles that we get our fuller busted customers to try on in the fitting room to determine their size ration ( you'll never be the same size in all - check out how to tell whether you bra fits ). This bra consists of flat lightweight wires and stretch lace cups, both of which will mould and form to your shape, meaning no bulging, spilling or digging. The power mesh sides draw the breast tissue inwards to create a narrow rounded silhouette, whilst the plunging front means this style can be worn with a huge range of clothes. The low bridge ( centre front ) is also great for those who are not used to wearing a wired bra, as the wires sit lower on the chest alleviating pressure. Available in a range of colours, from Vintage Rose - a beautiful neutral pink that proves beige doesn't have to be boring, to Black and other seasonal colours; this bra is a must have … trust us.

An absolute classic here at The Pantry Underwear, we have stocked this bra since our doors opened and it’s not leaving us anytime soon. Beloved by a huge cross selection of our customers, this bra is often heralded as one of our most comfortable. This is in part thanks to the half cup pads; this light padding provides a beautiful rounded silhouette, whilst also cushioning the wires so there is no digging in or rubbing over the course of the day. The positioning of the pads means that this bra works well for those with softer or often described as 'flat' breast tissue as it helps with the volume at the bottom and so lifting the tissue to round off the top. The stretch lace overlay adds a really pretty finish yet also cleverly prevents cup spillage and allows for size fluctuation. The flat wires pull the bra to sit flush to hug the body so it’s ideal under tighter fitting tops. The ultimate t-shirt bra for our D+ queens. The full moulded cups sit high on the breast, which means no spilling or bulging; great for thinner cottons and silks and also high neck wedding dresses. The high central column separates and supports the breast tissue and provides an uplifted and rounded shape under clothes. We call this the silhouette maker, as people will ask you what bra you are wearing! Not much else we need to say … other than the detachable shoulder straps at the back allow you to convert it into a cross-back bra, perfect for when you need that little extra support or to conceal the straps when wearing a racer back garment. New to store this year, the Spacer T-shirt bra has already become a fan favourite here at The Pantry. The ¾ padded cups mould to your body providing a rounded and smooth shape without excess foam. The smaller cup design is also perfect for those who don’t want too much material, especially when wearing a strappy top for example. Lattice detailing on the bridge is a fun addition whilst still separating the breast tissue with a soft and comfortable finish. The shoulder straps are secured with snap clips, which means this bra can be converted into both a cross-back and halter styles, quickly and securely. A new Bra-drobe staple is born.

Another bestseller with multiple colours featured in our own personal collections! The Houndstooth & Floral Balconette is a classic piece of the Pantry. Starting at a D cup this bra is made especially for fuller busts - the high and pert shape is provided by a high centre front bridge which lifts and secures the breast tissue. The firm jacquard of the bottom section to the cups provides support whilst the stretchy lace on the top of the cups prevents spilling or bulging and allows for size fluctuation. This bra is also incredibly durable and will last. It's no wonder that many describe this as their "favourite bra" and will buy every new shade that we present. A necessity for any bra-drobe; the ultimate Plunge Strapless bra can be worn under nearly any outfit. Thanks to the cleverly shaped cups which offer great support but also an uplifted silhouette, the smooth finish means it works really well with silky or tight fitting clothes. Though the main reason that we love this strapless over others is the plunging front, as it avoids the cups collapsing, culminating in a shelf-like appearance. It also means that this can be worn with lower cut ( crossover & V for example ) tops and dresses - she's very popular with brides. Finally a bigger bust 'triangle' style that works! For our D+ gang, this non-wired 'wonder' bra has been designed specifically to support you. With a wide, soft and secure underbrand, high apex lace cups are anchored to provide extra support and uplift. As can be desired, it also provides a minimised shape / you'll likely look smaller than you are due to the separated shape. Graphic lace is lined with an inner mesh to ensure this bra offers nipple coverage and combined with the scalloped neckline, it's a really pretty finish too.
